I trained in the UK at Redroofs Theatre School and have spent 20 years working professionally as an actor with roles in BBC, Channel 4 and RTE series and programmes under my belt alongside commercials, short films and corporate work.
I always especially loved (and still do ) the voice recording side of my work. I presented a travel documentary and travelled all over Ireland interviewing people and recorded much of the programme in VO. A four part series for C4 I played the lead in featured the character in a running commentary in voiceover. I have also done a series of commercials (TV and Radio) for the National Consumer Agency and provided the voice of 'Mum' for Airtricity last year.
I am a Mum in real life to a 12yr old girl and 14 yr old boy and I run the Independent Theatre Workshop Theatre School and Agency. So much of my time now is spent teaching Acting, and Speech & Drama, and directing kids musicals and theatre productions with children and teenagers.
I love what I do - every day is different - and running my own business allows me the time and freedom to work in voiceoverland!
