I have been a professional actor for 16 years, in that time worked on many radio plays. More recently(last eight years)have started doing commercial voice overs.
For the most part my own natural voice is the voice that is preferred.I have a neutral Irish accent that can move easily to Dublin, English or rural Irish. But I also enjoy doing foreign or just weird accents.
In some of the ads I've done voiceovers for, I've been a concerned dad, a dirty old man, an intellectual, plummy English, a Dub, a French man and a philosopher.
In other work,have just been working on The Tudors. I also have an on/off
relationship with Robin in Fair City and have just shot an ad playing John Jameson in a Jameson commercial.
