Nick McGinley is a performer, writer & casting director. He has written & performed radio columns for RTE Radio 1 (Frequencies, Spectrum), acted in an award-winning comedy double-act (Hoarse Throat Soothers) and has carved out a career on the other side of the performance fence as casting director on Irish feature films (Kisses, The Other Side of Sleep, 100 Mornings) and UK/US productions (Warhorse, Wrath of the Titans).
He also wrote a comedy book 100 Reasons to Vote Yes for Lisbon II, reaching number 9 on the Hodges Figgis charts, which he enjoyed doing public readings for. He trained in Drama in Trinity & Film Production in DIT.
